Meet the Owners!

Alabama, are you ready to Rock?! We’re the Coleys – Maura, Kevin, Tristan, and Winston. We are the proud new owners of a fantastic and exciting opportunity for Baldwin and Mobile counties called We Rock the Spectrum – Daphne. We are thrilled to bring this fun and full-of-laughter outlet to our community.

Maura is a Speech Language Pathologist who, for the past 16 years, has worked with children of special needs, including autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, sensory processing difficulties, language learning challenges, and social communication challenges. Kevin is a secondary level educator with 10 years of experience teaching AP Humanities courses. Throughout his career, he has helped students with autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders to find a path to success in the classroom.

Our inspiration for opening a We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym is two-fold. Our professional paths have instilled in us a commitment to helping children and young people achieve their best by finding true ways to help them be successful in life. Our second motivation is that we were galvanized by a personal experience with a close family member who was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder last year and its progression resulted in global deficits. We saw firsthand how hard it was to find a fun and safe place – “where you never have to say I’m sorry” – for her and other children to play and laugh. We want to provide an emotionally safe place for families in the Baldwin and Mobile areas who have struggled to find fun, sensory-smart outlets and activities for children of all abilities. That is what led us to We Rock the Spectrum.

We look forward to seeing you all laugh and play at We Rock the Spectrum – Daphne!
